The dataset includes co-rulers, short reigns, and uncertain historical attributions. Colored bars show the source’s recorded route to power; a dot marks reigns too short to form a visible bar at the current scale. The dynasty labels reproduce the source’s grouping and do not always match strict historical dynasties.
Dates, names, and reported ends are carried over from the original emperor dataset. Where sources disagree, treat its attributions as a starting point for exploration rather than settled fact. Augustus’s source start is plotted as 27 BCE, as in the original timeline.
